I like lizards...in Okinawa I saw a lot of beige geckos about 10cm long and occasionally a scary-lookin' tree lizard almost 30cm long...here in California I see brown lizards about 20cm long that look a lot like the fellow in your photo. good focus showing the scales to good effect!
